What makes the VK220S special
Power Boost on the handle
One press of the button on the grip and the VK220S switches to maximum power for about 30 seconds, with the PB440 S mattress cleaner, the HD65 S brush and the attachments.
It recognises the floor
With the EB420 S power brush it works out by itself whether you are cleaning a hard floor or a carpet, and adjusts the suction.
Bag status at a glance
Six light bars on the body: green while the filter bag is working well, yellow when it's time to change it.
Four power levels
Auto, soft, med and max. In auto mode it doses power between 100 and 450 W; at maximum it reaches 700 W.
FP200 Premium filter bag
The 2.2 l bag traps fine dust: the exhaust air contains about 0.001 mg/m³ of dust.
A complete system
The SP600 S hard floor cleaner, PB440 S mattress cleaner, VF200 S carpet cleaner and HD65 S brush all connect to the same Kobold: you wash floors and clean mattresses, sofas and carpets.

The VK220S shares bags, hose and many accessories with the VK200. Here is what you need to know before ordering.
FP200 bags
The VK220S uses FP200 Premium filter bags, the same as the VK200. You'll find them original Vorwerk and compatible, also in kits with fragrances and filters.

The EB420 S recognises the type of floor, the EB400 is the multifunction brush of the previous generation: both work on the VK220S.

Which bags does the Kobold VK220S use?
The VK220S uses FP200 Premium filter bags, the same as the VK200. We stock original Vorwerk and compatible FP200 bags, also in packs with fragrances and filters.
How do I know when to change the bag?
The Kobold tells you: the six light bars on the body stay green while the filter bag is working well and turn yellow when it needs replacing. If they flash red, there is a fault to check.
Does Power Boost work with every brush?
No. It works with the PB440 S mattress cleaner, the HD65 S brush, the VF200 S carpet cleaner and the attachments; it is not available with the EB420 S and EB400 power brushes or with the SP600 S hard floor cleaner. It switches off by itself after about 30 seconds.
Can I use VK200 accessories on the VK220S?
Yes: the flexible hose and FP200 bags are the same, and the EB400 brush and SP530 hard floor cleaner also work on the VK220S.
What does refurbished Kobold VK220S mean?
It's a used VK220S that we have taken apart, checked, repaired with selected spare parts, sanitised and tested with a full function test. It comes with a warranty of up to 3 years.
Can I trade in my old Kobold?
Yes: we value your old Kobold and you can save up to €200 on a newer model. All the details are on the trade-in page.
